About US

Our Story

Corner Office Gourmet was founded in 2012 with a small café in the corner of an office building and would serve gourmet style lunches & daily specials to the local work community. We also offered corporate catering, with a level of quality to exceed the standards of the executives in the big “Corner Office” (hence the name “Corner Office Gourmet”). We also offered sandwiches, canapés, and other selections at wholesale to hotels, universities & full service caterers in the greater Boston Area. As our wholesale orders kept us afloat through the pandemic, we made the decision to keep wholesale production & distribution as our main focus. (We continue to provide catering to some of our loyal customers upon their requests). The production team for our wholesale division we commonly referred to as “The Canapé Team”, a group of artisan chefs who have spent many years perfecting the craft of high quality hors d' oeuvres, appetizers, sandwiches & much more. From here, we developed the brand “The Canapé Team”

In today’s foodservice environment, many chefs & production managers tell us that labor shortages and time to properly plan are some of the biggest challenges. Exceeding expectations of quality & creativity for their customers is still in high demand. Writing custom menus, prep lists, time-lines, ordering and training the staff , all while trying to maintain food cost objectives and quality standards, can sometimes be too much at once.

Our Team and Our Selections

Our team is made up of chefs, seasoned foodservice operators and logistics experts. Our experience ranges from operating cafés, restaurants, and catering events upwards of 12,000 ppl. From this, we have mastered the art of producing high quality selections, for events & production runs of most quantities, as well as timely delivery. ( And most recently, E-Commmerce Fulfillment)

We have been practicing for many years the art of delicate production of fine canapés, along with sandwiches, sushi, frozen appetizers & desserts. Once they are finished, our team packs them safely into boxes designed hold, insulate & protect the selections from damage during delivery.

Lead Times

For Fresh Items, usually, a MINIMUM of 48 hours is required to fill your order.. If the order is extremely large or if supply chain presents procurement issues, additional time may be needed. The Canapé Team makes no promises or guarantees...depending upon the order. During peak season, The Canapé Team may require additional lead time to fill your order. The Canapé team reserves the right to refuse orders if runs the risk of sacrificing quality or timely delivery for our loyal & regular customers, who usually know when it's time to get their orders in early. For Frozen selections - Lead times may vary.

Minimums & order quantities

A minimum of 50 canapés per each variety required. For Sandwiches, also a minimum of 50..

Deliveries

Deliveries are made in our refrigerated trucks in the Boston & Cambridge Area. Deliveries are Monday thru Saturday.

Special Requests

Over the years, many of our customers have presented us with the challenge of preparing a custom item for them. If we think it can be done, we are happy to work on a sample to see if it will meet standards of quality & efficient production.
